Ethan has been involved in the performing arts since a young age. In Garden City, Kansas, Ethan participated in the community theatre summer shows directed by Mark Hayes.

When he moved to Minneapolis in 2003, he quickly took the performing scene. Ethan, along with his brother and father, participated in A Country Christmas Celebration!  at Celebration Church. This show was compared to being at the same level as a Branson show. 

Ethan participated in the production for eight year where he moved from kids' cast, to junior performer, and senior performer and assistant choreographer.

At age 17, Ethan began to take formal dance training classes through Premiere Dance Academy in Prior Lake, Minnesota. After one year of recreational dancing, Ethan competed with the competition company. He competed in hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, and tap. At nationals, his lyrical group took first place.

With only two years of formal dance training, he started school as a dance universal major at Oklahoma City University. In his first year, Ethan performed with the American Spirit Dance Company, Student Choreography Show We Own the Night, and Spirit of Grace Liturgical Company. He also choreographed for Spirit of Grace his first year.

Ethan  graduated from Oklahoma City University with his degree in American Dance Pedagogy in 2019. After graduation, he performed at Frontier City as a singer, dancer, and magician. He also began teaching full time at Range of Motion Dance Studio, Ascend Dance Studios, Tilt Dance Company, and The Dance Department. Ethan was the dance director at Harding Fine Arts Academy for 3 years before going back to school.

Ethan just recently earned his Master's of Arts degree in Nonprofit Leadership with an emphasis in Arts Administration. While teaching full time, Ethan is getting experience working with Make-A-Wish Oklahoma in their development department.
